The 400kV high-voltage substation is located in the Alcoutim Solar Farm, and will connect a 220 MW photovoltaic plant to the National Transport Network. The SOLARA4, as it is known, is considered to be the largest non-subsidised, photovoltaic plant in Europe, and one of the largest solar energy plants in the world. Covering an area of 400 hectares, it will produce 383 gigawatts of electricity per year, equivalent to the annual consumption of a city with 130 thousand inhabitants.
QUADRANTE coordinated, managed and developed the Structures, Architecture, Hydraulic Installations, Technical Facilities, Fire Safety, Telecommunications, Roads and Drainage Infrastructure Projects.
