MasterPlan and Schematic Design for the EPC competition OF M'Banza Congo Airport

The M'Banza Kongo Airport consists of the development of a new airport to be located in Nkiende II, 30kms south of M’Banza Kongo. The airport will replace the current airport which is constrained by urban buildings in the vicinity.

The Airport consists of a 4600km runway, designed for the Boeing B777-300R, a commercial platform and taxiways, a Passenger Main Terminal, Control Tower, FireFighting, Administrative buildings, Police Station, Fuel Farm as well as all the associated landside facilities and infrastructures, as roads, car parks, curbside, water treatment plant and electrical substation.

The Main Terminal has an area of around 3 200 m2 and has been designed for a peak hour of 150 passengers, handling both international and national flights.

QUADRANTE is responsible for the MasterPlan and Schematic Design for the EPC competition of all the above-mentioned engineering disciplines.
