Mora Public Aquarium

This is a building intended for the display of river species, with the peculiarity of being built almost entirely in exposed concrete. The project showed some particularly complicated aspects, such as the design of the various tanks that had to include the loads from the thick acrylic panels that constitute the "glasses" of the aquaria. It is also worth noting the difficulty of designing the outside porticoes, built in precast white concrete, where it was necessary to pay particular attention to the detail of the connections between the various parts of the portico so that no connecting devices were visible, allowing the minimalist language of the architects to be achieved.
